Congratulations 2006-2007 Active House!
On behalf of the 2006-2007 Executive Board of alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc. at the University of Houston, we would like to congratulate the Active House at UH on such a successful year! Here is a look at some of our accomplishments for this year:
- Fundraised, improved, and maintained account balance.
- Free sisterhoods at Ra Sushi and Cheesecake Factory.
- Lowered dues.
- Rush t-shirts.
- Successful philanthropic events - Breast Fest and E.R.A.S.E., raised thousands of dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Houston Area Women's Center
- Successful Asian Awareness events - Asian American Festival, Tet Festival, Asian Heritage Appreciation Week.
- Improved relations with other Greek and non-Greek organizations.
- Crossed 11 beautiful girls into our sisterhood, Upsilon Class (8, Fall 2006) and Phi Class (3, Spring 2007).
- Won the Cultural Awareness Award at the 2007 National Convention in San Jose, CA.
